Curtain Simulator 2013

Why? I found a program on the internet one day that simulated the physics of a hanging fabric sheet and wondered if I could write a similar program in canvas. I was interested because I wanted to see if canvas could handle the physics, also if I could write a pseudo-physics engine that could run on canvas well.
After I made the simple version which was just a curtain hanging, I decided to polish it and give it a bit more levels. I programmed most of this at my college's computer lab, Lab 115. I polished it because it became a running joke between my friends and me. I later posted it on reddit and a few people started to make videos about it. I was overly excited when I got my very first video about something I made. Then rockpapershotgun.com wrote an article about it which just increased my joy. This was a very nice experience to my first publicly available game.
Below you can see the three different sources of coverage and their intensity. The first small spike was rockpapershotgun, the second spike on the 22nd of July was when PewDiePie played it, and the third spike around July 29th was when NerdCubed (one of my personal favourites) played my game for a "Three Free Game Friday" segment. The exponential decay is an expected phenomena, and it is clearly shown here.
